Our experience shows that there is a big difference between routines and methods in industrial washing. It means that there may be differences, such as in shrinkage and colour, depending on the washing method.

What do the wash symbols mean?

Below you will find an overview of the washing symbols you will encounter in the care label on clothes from ID^® Identity and the three sub-brands GEYSER by ID^®, PRO Wear by ID^® and Seven Seas by ID^®.

Washing
The symbol shows whether home washing is possible and at what temperature.

Bleaching
The triangle indicates whether the clothes may or may not be bleached.

Drying
The square is the symbol for which clothes can be go in a tumble dryer and at what temperature.

Ironing
The icon indicates whether the clothes can be ironed or not and at what temperature.

Professional cleaning
The circle provides information about the clothes approved for industrial washing and drying.

Hand wash (at 40 °C)
Dissolve the detergent in the water, put in the textiles and let them soak. Avoid rubbing, pulling or twisting the clothing. Then rinse the textiles and wring out excess water.

30 °C extra delicate
Extra delicate process under 1,000 rpm. Remember to keep the machine load light and put on a low spin.

30 °C delicate wash
Delicate process 800 – 1,000 rpm.

30 °C wash
Normal process over 1,000 rpm.

40 °C extra delicate wash
Extra delicate process under 1,000 rpm. Remember to keep the machine load light and put on a low spin.

40 °C delicate wash
Delicate process 800 – 1,000 rpm.

40 °C wash
Normal process over 1,000 rpm.

60 °C wash
Normal process over 1,000 rpm.

80 °C wash
Normal process over 1,000 rpm.

No washing
Do not wash the product, as it may be sensitive to water.

Do not bleach
Indicates that bleaching is not allowed. Use detergent only without bleach.

Tumble drying at low heat
Suitable for tumble drying at low temperature (60 °C).

Tumble drying at high heat
The clothing may undergo tumble drying at normal temperature (80 °C).

Do not tumble dry
This clothing may not be tumble dried.

Hang drying
The product is easy to reshape after washing and hang drying. If coloured clothes are dried outdoors, it should always be done in the shade to protect the colours.

Laying clothes out to dry
After washing, the product is easy to reshape and lay out to dry. If coloured clothes are dried outdoors, it should always lie in the shade to protect the colours.

Ironing on low heat
Ironing at low temperature max. 100 °C.

Ironing on medium heat
Ironing at medium temperature max. 150 °C.

Ironing on high heat
The iron may be no higher than 200 °C.

Do not iron
The clothing may be not steamed or ironed.

Professional dry cleaning
May be dry cleaned in perchlorate, mineral turpentine or similar.

Professional cleaning
The clothing can be cleaned in perchlorate.

Do not dry clean
Do not dry clean clothes, and solvent stain remover should be avoided.
