'More sustainable cotton' is defined as cotton sourced as Better Cotton and Organic Cotton.

Better Cotton isn't physically traceable to end products

You think: But what is the purpose then?  Us: Let's tell you. 

Better Cotton is sourced via a system of Mass Balance and is not physically traceable to end products. By using a system of Mass Balance, BCI is able to reach more farmers, meaning more sustainable practices are being implemented around the world.

The people
BCI farmers receive education and training on agricultural best practice, addressing social, environmental and economic factors.

The environment
Better Cotton is grown with focus at environmental principles, which protects our planet and the people who farm and work with the cotton.

The Better Cotton Initiative is working towards to improve livelihoods and economic development in cotton producing areas.
